I never really imagined I’d be running a business like this.
It started with a simple need—trying to get a handful of robots for a community project. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just something solid, functional, and affordable. But the deeper I searched, the more frustrating it became. Prices were sky-high, product descriptions felt vague, and buying more than one at a time? That turned into a headache I didn’t see coming.
That experience stuck with me.
I couldn’t stop thinking, “Why isn’t there a place for people like us—small teams, educators, makers—who just need good robotics gear without the corporate red tape?”
So I decided to try filling that gap myself.
Bulk1xRobots came together slowly. A few test shipments. A lot of late nights packing boxes. And more than a few mistakes along the way. I wasn’t trying to build an empire—I just wanted to create the kind of store I wish had existed when I needed it. Somewhere honest. Somewhere that treated people with respect and didn’t make them jump through hoops to get the tools they needed.
This business is built on a few simple values:
- Keep it practical.
- Say what you mean.
- Help people solve problems, not create more of them.
I’ve been lucky to work with all kinds of folks—teachers outfitting entire robotics classes, small businesses testing automation ideas, even independent tinkerers just following their curiosity. Every time I see someone turn one of our robots into something bigger, it reminds me why this matters.
We may not be the biggest robotics supplier out there, and that’s fine by me. I’d rather keep things small enough to care. I still handle most of the customer emails myself. I still check every shipment before it goes out. There’s something about staying close to the work that keeps it meaningful.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that when you put useful tools in the hands of creative people, great things happen. That’s what Bulk1xRobots is here for—to support the builders, the educators, the thinkers, and the experimenters.
Thanks for being here. Really.I never really imagined I’d be running a business like this.
